Solitaire Security will no longer be receiving updates unless they are critical security patches or bug fixes.
Solitaire Security has been surpassed by Tsar Security, our new successor to it. Please note that none of our software supports Python 3.10 as most of the libraries we use have not been cleared for this release. Please stick to Python 3.9 until further details are provided.
Here you can find the download link to the bundled system for Tsar Security, our new open source successor to Solitaire Security.
Download the zip file on this page or here and extract it to it's own folder. Install Python 3.9 here and add it to PATH (essentially the bottom right tick box on the installer window when first running). Once complete, open a Command Prompt window and enter pip3 install requests pyminizip ruamel.std.encryptedzip Pycryptodomex pandas pyside2 blurwindow into the prompt. Please note this will take a while and consume a considerable amount of data if you are not connected to WiFi/Ethernet. You will also be prompted to install C++ Virtual Build tools during this with the installer link. This is essential. Once complete, run the EXE from the folder.
Download the zip file on this page or here and extract it to it's own folder. Install Python 3.9 with the command (sudo apt install/sudo pacman -S) python3.9-dev into your terminal. Once complete, verify your pip3 or pip3.9 packages are interfaced by Python 3.9. In that same terminal window, enter pip3 install requests pyminizip ruamel.std.encryptedzip Pycryptodomex pandas pyside2 blurwindow and wait for this to complete. Please note this will take a while and consume a considerable amount of data if you are not connected to WiFi/Ethernet. You will NOT be prompted to install C++ Virtual Build tools during this. Once complete, run the EXE from the folder using any Windows EXE tool like PlayOnLinux or WINE, or you can run main.py from our repo: here.

Our latest and greatest:
Tsar Security is a security framework designed to be as close to a digital Fort Knox as one can get. With salted SHA-384 hashing, AES encryption and server side storage, you can rest assured that your data is going nowhere. Designed to be simple, effective and user-friendly. Open source, inviting and free to use. You are welcome to distribute it as you like commercially or personally, or even just use it as an educational tool. Passwords are never stored, and the things that are only stored are your encryption keys and user details like your username and unique hash that identifies you to the server. If you do plan to use this, we do recommend you compile this to an EXE format and obfuscate it where possible when put into a real-life application as it is rather easy to patch security frameworks that are majorly client side. However, you can run the tool out-of-the-box and your data is safe provided the user cannot retrieve your password hash and username that goes with it. These are never saved on the client and are only available at runtime, hence our recommendation to obfuscate and compile if you can.
Contact us if you need decryption keys for data you cannot retrieve, deleting your account, changing your password or any other issues.
